Pineapple Juice

Pineapple Juice with a Mermaid. Pic by M.C.

This mermaid loves to sip pineapple juice. Nutrients from raw juice go to the bloodstream fast that way I can keep swimming through this crazy sea of life.

After juicing celery juice and Medical Medium, Anthony William, saying don’t add anything to it to get results, I am inspired to juice simpler.

Pineapple contains the enzyme bromelain, which is an anti-inflammatory and helps aid digestion by breaking down proteins. Pineapple contains vitamin C, which is good for our immune system, builds collagen, supports and strengthens our blood vessels, skin, tendons, and ligaments. Other vitamins and minerals in pineapple are B6, folate (According to the Mayo Clinic, B9 is important in red blood cell formation, cell growth and function. You will see it in many prenatal vitamins.), and potassium. Some types of salt we eat are bad for us including sea salt according to Medical Medium. He says celery will clean out the salt. Pineapple will reduce salt in our systems too due to the potassium. Potassium also lowers blood pressure. Some of this information is from The Ultimate Book of Modern Juicing by Mimi Kirk. I will definitely write a review on the book after I read it.

Pineapple Juice Recipe
½ pineapple

Yield: 16-ounces

Cut off skin and dice half an organic pineapple. I juice with an Omega MMV700. The smaller the pieces I put in the machine the more juice I produce and less pulp is left in the drum lid.

Thank you for reading from so many different countries. Appreciate! Happy Juicing!
