Ennara and the Fallen Druid

Ennara Book 1 Blog

I have fallen in love with a new series titled Ennara and the Fallen Druid by Angela Myron. The story is exceptionally creative with spells, potions, a riddle, and I love how Ennara the brave heroine realizes she can give blessings. The book is intended for middle-aged kids, but any age would love this sophisticated story.

Ennara and the Fallen Druid is a magical adventure that took me to another place. I felt like I escaped from the day to day for just a little while. There is a hint of Harry Potter, but Myron’s voice is unique. I also think anyone who has read my story might like Ennara as she too goes on a ship, finds herself underwater with a plucky animal, and must learn to use her new powers much like Sarah in Superfreak.

I still carry a little bit of Ennara with me. I feel her fear as her mom tries to comfort her on her first journey away from home. We all have fears and many of them come from maybe experiencing an event for the first time. Ennara will give you hope and help you through the hard times. Perhaps you’ve forgotten what it’s like to be a child. Read book one of the Ennara Series and she will remind you.

Here is a blurb from Ennara and the Fallen Druid by Angela Myron:

Ennara has always been told she’d have legendary magic when she grew up, but she felt like the most normal girl in the world…

Until one night when she is attacked by a shadowy demon on her farmstead. Suddenly, Ennara is thrust into a world of magic, alchemy, and monsters, and she is charged with a quest to find an ancient sword that can end the shadowy curse–just as it ended the Fallen Druid centuries ago.

To succeed, Ennara must confront pirates, servants of the Fallen Druid, and those who would use her magic for their own ends. In the end, she must learn to rely on the strengths of her friends and herself, and the deepest truths of life in the world of medieval Lan.

Ennara and the Fallen Druid is the first book in the middle-grade fantasy series Ennara. It won a silver medal at the 2013 Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards for best pre-teen ebook.

A Southern Gentleman Book

A Southern Gentleman

“Can a chance encounter with a woman in a Manhattan bar, be enough to heal a nice southern gentleman’s broken heart?”

Today I am hosting super fun Author Tracy Reed of Contemporary Romances. Last year she was on fire determined to publish a book a month. On top of that, she creates her own beautiful covers. I love how she uses the color pink for her title and name A Southern Gentleman by TRACY REED.

In A Southern Gentleman, nice guy Jeremiah Logan, had me at “Pretty Lady.” Southern charm really is enough to fall in love with a hero. Who cares that he has money. Avery Marshall has her own.

Here is a flirty description of A Southern Gentleman.

“A woman walks into a crowded Manhattan bar and meets a nice southern gentleman.” That sounds like the beginning of a bad joke or the beginning of an intriguing love story.

At first meeting, Avery Marshall and Jeremiah Logan, have nothing in common. He’s from Alabama and she’s a native New Yorker. He loves steak and potatoes and she’s trying to loose ten pounds. He thinks her curves are sexy and she loves his accent.

However, their mutual attraction is pointless, because he’s only in town for a few months. But how much time do you need to know you’ve found the “one”?

More about Tracy Reed.

A California native, novelist Tracy Reed pushes the boundaries of her Christian foundation with her sometimes racy and often fiery tales.

After years of living in the Big Apple, this self-proclaimed New Yorker draws from the city’s imagination, intrigue, and inspiration to cultivate characters and plot lines who breathe life to the words on every page.

Tracy’s passion for beautiful fashion and beautiful men direct her vivid creative power towards not only novels, but short stories, poetry, and podcasts. With something for every attention span.

Tracy’s ability to capture an audience is unmatched. Her body of work has been described as a host of stimulating adventures and invigorating expression.
