Celery Juice Day 29

I’ve been drinking celery juice for 29 days and feel pretty good.

One thing about juicing is I forget to drink my daily water. Celery juice being so watery I didn’t drink my usual amount. I looked to see how much water I should be drinking and tried a couple of water calculators. I found using the general rule of drinking half your body weight in water ounces per day is almost exactly what one calculator recommended for me. The other calculator recommended less water. It’s easier to go by one’s weight and cut it in half to figure out how many ounces to drink.

Another thing I changed this week is having warm lemon water rather than room temperature. I’m not sure what the difference it makes, but I did mention in a previous blog the body’s ideal digesting point is about 100 degrees Fahrenheit. If you eat something colder or hotter, your body will warm or cool the food or drink. In my opinion, you don’t want to shock your system. Think of drinking warm water like putting a heating pad on your muscles to relax them. I heated a cup of water in the kettle for a minute while I squeezed a lemon into the mug.

As a reminder, drink your lemon water first thing in the morning. Anthony William of Medical Medium recommends 32-ounces of water. Wait about 15 to 20 minutes and ideally 30 minutes before drinking your 16-ounces of celery juice. He says wait 30 minutes before eating breakfast. I wait an hour then have a strawberry smoothie. This week, I juiced the celery juice at night. Then I juiced my own apple, nectarine, and lemon for the smoothie. Also, keep the mornings fat-free—no dairy, no oils, and no animal products. Avoid problematic foods that feed the viruses—dairy, eggs, gluten, corn, soy, pork, nutritional yeast, canola oil, natural flavors, vinegar, and fermented foods. I did make tofu burgers this week. Do your best.

As I’ve said before celery juice is gentle. Mostly, I sweated out toxins and had a few annoying dreams. And I had one headache on day two. Everybody is different. I hope it goes as easy for you.

This part might seem a little random. People seem a little out of it now. Some people tell me they are scared. One thing I noticed is celery juice releases anger or frustration by cleansing out the liver. Medical Medium mentions celery juice helping with emotions. In his Celery Juice book William says, “Different viral strains have different appetites for different foods.” Everybody has a different viral load in their liver that feeds on anything from pesticides to herbicides to all the foods I mentioned to avoid. Then neurotoxins are released into the bloodstream to the brain resulting in mild forms of depression, bipolar behavior, and anxiety. He stresses eggs to be bad for people with emotional struggles. I had never heard that. Very interesting.

I found a yoga move on Yoga Lifestyle with Melissa that helps clean out anger and frustration from the liver. And it’s so simple.

I just want to say to some young people who have crossed my path that it is okay to have emotions and feelings. It is better to get out your true feelings than to keep them inside or you will destroy your health.

I remember I was chaperoning a choir and one of the soloist’s voice cracked. She came back stage and cried. A bunch of girls huddled around and hugged her. It’s okay if your voice cracks. It happens. Those things usually happen once. And you know what? I remember it happened to my mom as a professional singer and she would make the crack sound like she meant it. So sometimes crack is okay. Ha. Ha.

I remember when I was in my voice class in college and I forgot my words. I mentioned it to my friend’s sister and she was horrified. I don’t recall exactly what I said, but I’m sure I shrugged it off. The upside is it happened in class and not in concert. I also find that these things happen once then don’t happen again. I think that’s what my voice teacher said.

I hope you will join me in drinking celery juice. Your mental health affects your physical health and vice versa. Eating clean might make you more aware of the world. I’ve noticed some young people don’t want to be awake. I realize most people will never wake up. I enjoy being awake because the truth is stranger than fiction.

To all those who are fearful I’ll leave you with one of my favorite Bible verses. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (NIV Study Bible, Joshua 1:9)

Happy Juicing!

Celery Juice Day 15

Drinking celery juice for your health is the easiest and cheapest thing you can do for yourself.

I’m on day fifteen and the celery juice has been very gentle. I would say I am having more dreams. Once I had a nightmare, but twice I woke up laughing. It’s probably part of the detoxifying. I did have a headache on the second day. Medical Medium, Anthony William, says any reaction is going to be in the beginning days of your 30-day celery juice journey.

I have the whole household drinking it. One other person said they had a nightmare. Is that celery juice cleaning out toxins? The other person just had a bad dream last night. We don’t normally have bad dreams so I think it’s the celery juice.

I think my eyesight is getting better. I’m not using my reading glasses at night.

I get comments like “Celery juice makes me gag.” Or “It would taste better with lemon.” I’ve been reading Medical Medium Celery Juice: The Most Powerful Medicine Of Our Time Healing Millions Worldwide by Anthony William and he does suggest to drink lemon water or lime water first thing in the morning. I have been inconsistently drinking lemon water then waiting the suggested fifteen or more minutes before drinking celery juice. That works since I have to set up the juicer and prep the celery. If you drink lemon water first it’s a lot easier to taste celery so early in the morning. I agree drinking celery juice isn’t how I want to start my mornings, but the lemon water takes the edge off. Just make sure you keep at least fifteen minutes between the two drinks. Then I made an apple, lemon, ginger juice, and had that for my breakfast at least thirty minutes after the celery juice.

Reading the book, I have realized most of us probably have issues with our liver or a fatty liver. Also forget about the Coronavirus. Anthony William talks about viruses and bacteria like we all have something. Epstein-Barr Virus and Strep bacteria are the most mentioned in his book. And the great thing is he says the sodium cluster salts neutralize toxins in the bloodstream and organs. He also calls them mineral salts that “kill off bacterial, fungal, and viral overgrowth as they travel through the small intestine and colon, and even once they’re absorbed into the bloodstream and pulled up into the liver through the hepatic portal vein. They’re an incredible antiseptic in this way, enhancing your body’s immune system.” William mentions celery juice can rid your body of pathogens such as pesticides, herbicides, viruses, bacteria, and heavy metals.

Another interesting thing is celery juice is good for depression and anxiety. We all went through some upset with this lockdown. And Governor Newsom made the restaurants and bars close again. Some of law enforcement in California said no to Newsom. Even if you just went through a bad break up or if you have someone toxic in your life celery juice is supposed to help with the detoxifying. He says the true cause of mood struggles are toxins. It’s more layered than just toxins. Every person is different. Get the book for more details.

The Celery Juice book is really interesting. I will probably read all of Anthony William’s books. Reading the book is keeping me on a 30-day journey of morning celery juice.

I hope this encourages you to juice. See you with an update on day 22.
